Agile Metrics transformation to fix disconnect between Business and Delivery

There is a widespread disconnect between Business and Delivery. These days many delivery teams follow agile principles. Their focus is on improving agile metrics such as sprint velocity, tracking product burnup/burndown etc. However, these metrics/measures do not say anything about the value a user or customer is getting. Business wants to gauge customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, time to market, innovation, cost, revenue etc. There is a disconnect. Some of the common pitfalls – last-minute surprises, dissatisfied teams, and significant cost impact. Agile metrics transformation not only bridges a gap between senior leadership and development team, but it also empowers leadership and development team taking proactive steps that helps in saving significant costs. Rohit will talk why transformation of development to business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is necessary. How it enables organization to take proactive measures that not only make projects successful but also help companies stay competitive and thrive in the market. The session will demonstrate how Rohit applied the transformation on a newly built dashboard to effectively show team progress in an agile environment and highlight potential red flags. The session will demonstrate a paradigm shift from traditional project management approaches and how technologies like JavaScript framework, serverless, and cloud help in bringing this transformation effectively.
