Unpredictable scenarios, guide for blind QA

At MANGOPAY, service quality is a strategic issue and a major asset for our products. It is therefore essential to test our products before going live. However, it is still difficult to reproduce all the possible scenarios we can have in production on our test environments. Have you ever been asked to reproduce a production behaviour without having the scenario? Have you ever spent hours trying to understand what is happening in production without being able to reproduce the same thing on your test environment? In this discussion, I will share with you how we have been able to answer these questions at MANGOPAY. I will tell you about the different steps that have allowed us to implement a better way to visualize our logs. This ensures that we are no longer blind to the problems that our users may encounter in production. From Kibana to Elastalert through Grafana, your production will have no more secrets for you!

After successfully completing her master's degree in computer science from The University of Pierre et Marie Curie, Farah Chabchoub became particularly interested in innovation and service improvement. She began to take an interest in quality assurance from her internship experiences by testing products and services for INFOTEL, then for Groupama. These experiences sparked her passion for quality control and she joined Dassault Systèmes to become a quality assurance engineer for R&D products. From 2016, her global experience in quality control is put to good use at MANGOPAY (end-to-end payment solution for marketplaces) and Leetchi (the largest social pot platform founded in Europe). As Head of QA, she enjoys working in an innovative environment with new daily challenges in a highly regulated environment.
