Leading through Change

The ability to change to meet the evolving business environments is critical to the success of any organization. Leading an organization through change is one of the greatest challenges that leaders face. In this interactive presentation, Cynthia Gilmer discusses some of the most critical aspects of the cycle of corporate change and a leader’s role in realizing successful transformation. Cynthia will cover the change cycle from the point where the need for change is recognized through the creation and execution of a vision, focusing on those activities that are critical to success. Cynthia Gilmer

Cynthia Gilmer leads the Enterprise Business Transformation practice at MITRE Corporation. She has broad experience in technology, innovation management, new product development, and business process improvement in the government, software, telecommunications, and information technology sectors. Prior to joining MITRE, Cindy ran her own consulting company for ten years specializing in innovation management and new product/service development. Formerly, Cindy worked as a systems engineer, software engineer, and manager for government contractors and commercial companies.
