Two Innovative Testing Tools: Helping companies get their products ready on time for global market expansion

Jim Peng will share best practices and tools that the cloud computing company VMware uses to get products and services market-ready on time and on budget for the company’s global expansion.  Specifically, he will discuss two tools: the Code Scanning Tool that detects potential issues ahead of time (before regular testing cycles) by scanning the source codes and identifying i18n defects automatically; and VMware’s “home-made” tool named Bug Root Cause Analyzerthat helps to analyze and track bug root causes. VMware will use past results to help reduce test cycles and focus on areas where the team had ran into the most issues of getting future product releases market-ready.
