With over 20 years of experience in the software industry, Bal Raju is focused on helping clients achieving business result using new and innovative technology. Qualified as a Software Engineer but very quickly developed a passion for improving software development practices, technology and pre-sales. Before joining Virtuoso Bal has worked at companies like GEC Plessy, Rational Software, IBM, Flexera and Worksoft across multiple business verticals. Bal is now the Lead Sales Engineer at Virtuoso, leading the "SE" practice and helping solve the Quality Assurance and automation challenges for clients across their entire web landscape. As the senior technical advisor to our clients, Bal helps to articulate how Virtuoso's and its "secret sauce" of bleeding-edge technologies like Natural Language Processing, RPA and Machine Learning open up intelligent, self-maintaining automation to everyone across the application development / DevOps lifecycle.

Outside of work Bal enjoys DIY, currently managing a full refurbishment to the new family home, also loves spicy food and always on the hunt for the spiciest chilli sauce!!
