Become a Mindful Tester: Eliminate the Clutter, Weather Any Storm

Add to calendar

Losing your focus because change is hitting you from all sides? Meetings and technology disrupting much of your day? End the day not knowing what you’ve accomplished? It’s for you to learn the power of mindfulness techniques. Francie Van Wirkus guides your discovery of how mindfulness provides calm and clarity in the face of great change, which exponentially enhances your problem solving and creativity. Once you regularly practice mindfulness, you are free to grow your champion heart. Like an athlete who doesn't quit, successful testers must be resilient and continually improve their game. You won’t need a yoga mat or a candle to learn simple ways to begin practicing mindfulness, but come ready to work! You will be asked to reflect on the current state of your focus on your practice, the target state of your practice, and what’s getting in the way. Then, create an action plan to take back to your office. Making regular time to reflect and plan isn't just a sanity check; it strengthens you to weather any storm that comes your way. Don't waste another minute with noisy clutter in your head!
