How to Experiment Your Way to Self-Worthiness

Add to calendar

Have you ever struggled with knowing your worth? What ARE you worth? How do you figure it out? Who decides? Does not knowing your worth challenge your happiness at work?

Even though Jaimee had accomplished some of the most high-profile work of her career, she no longer felt valued at her workplace. When she gave notice that she’d be moving on, she was shocked when they asked if there was anything they could do to make her stay. She chose to move on anyway, but this instance caused a lot of internalization about what had gone wrong, and why — was there anything her employers could have done differently earlier on? Was there anything she could have done earlier on?

Digging into the roots of cause for feeling undervalued led Jaimee to understand she was truly struggling with self-demoralization and self-doubt. In this talk, she will share what she's learned from a decade-long path of self-experimentalism toward an improved mental state and life re-design, and how those experiments have proven to build an on-going evolution of meaningful work and sense of worth.
