With more than fifteen years of quality assurance experience, concentrating on user experience and media application testing, Jim Whisenant is currently the QA lead for the native SDK team at Brightcove, a pioneering force in online video. Jim led the testing efforts on almost every other Brightcove UI—from their legacy Studio to Brightcove’s flagship web player. Before Brightcove, Jim was part of the QA team at SavaJe Technologies, developers of the first Java smartphone OS. In his spare time, Jim explores improvised music, synthesis, and guitar signal processing on iOS.
