Perry Riggs

Perry Riggs is currently an Enterprise Agile Coach with the Digital Product Management team at Edward Jones. In this role he guides the adoption of lean and agile practices at the portfolio and product levels in order to improve value, quality, and throughput.   Prior to the Edward Jones he was the Director of Agile Practices at SoftPro. Perry was Head of the Transformation pillar for Deutsche Bank’s Agile Services team in the Global Technology Office. There he developed the corporate practices utilized in agile transformation initiatives across the global bank. He has over 30 years of experience in technology with much of that time spent on leadership teams for transformation programs. This includes initiatives at IBM, Redhat, Progress Energy, RBC Bank and Deutsche Bank. His first experience with agile was in 2006 when he Joined RedHat and established their first IT PMO. He led the rollout of scrum to IT while simultaneously developing the portfolio management strategy for the organization. He has served as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach and Agile Transformation lead. His primary areas of research include Agile practices and frameworks but lean heavily toward the behavioral sciences and looking to understand how organizational culture, and individual mindset help or hinder our ability to change.
