Take your business to the next level with DevOps OKRs

Objectives and Key Results, or OKRs are a popular concept nowadays. The reason why OKRs work is because they are about motivation (teams setting objectives that they are passionate about), collaboration (people who have similar passion collaborating to achieve results), and innovation (no one tells them how to achieve these results). OKRs are aligned across the organization so that everyone has a chance to contribute. One of the primary areas where OKRs are extremely important and not yet fully discovered is DevOps. The topic OKRs with a focus on one of the most complex and understudied areas of business delivery. Unfortunately, DevOps are still seen by many as a technical area. Nothing can be further from reality. In the presentation, we will review multiple DevOps OKR strategies. DevOps business goal is to rapidly deliver stable, secure, resilient, high-quality software, from concept to delivery. If IT and business align around shared goals and the teams are on board, then everyone is working towards the same objective. We will focus on the practical cases of building OKRs around 24 key DevOps capabilities that drive improvement: continuous delivery, architecture, product and process, lean management and monitoring, and culture. Participants will leave the session empowered and equipped to implement DevOps OKRs in their places of work.
