Your registration includes continental breakfast, lunch and admission to conference

by Friday, August 29, 2008, to take advantage of the lower conference rates

Registration hours vary, please note the following are registration hours for STARWEST
2008.
Sunday registration: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Monday registration: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday registration: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday registration: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Thursday registration: 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Friday registration: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

What is a typical daily schedule?

The Tutorials are held on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Concurrent
Sessions are held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at various times in one-hour
segments. Throughout the day there are breaks for refreshments, lunch, and visiting
the EXPO. The EXPO is open on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30
p.m. and Thursday, October 2, 2008, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What is the dress code?

Casual, comfortable attire is recommended for speakers and attendees. In October,
the weather ranges from the low 80's during the day to mid 60's at night. You may
wish to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings or varying temperatures
in the hotel.

policy?

Registrations cancelled after Friday, September 8, 2008, are subject to a 20%
cancellation fee. No cancellations or refunds may be made after Friday, September
15, 2008. Substitutions may be made at any time before the first day of the program.

How do I receive confirmation of my registration?

Once your registration has been received, a registration confirmation notice will
be sent to you via email within 24 hours. Please verify that your email address
is entered correctly on the registration form. A confirmation packet will be mailed
upon receipt of payment.

Do I need to reserve a seat in any of the tutorials or concurrent sessions?

Seating is limited in Tutorials, so please reserve your seat
early. As we get closer to the conference, some tutorials/workshops may be full.
In this case, you will receive an email asking you to select another course. The
Wednesday through Friday concurrent sessions do not require reservations. You may
enter or leave any session at any time, space permitting. All tutorial selections
must be made by Monday, September 29, 2008.

Should I bring a laptop computer?

Although a laptop is not required for the conference, some tutorials require one.
Please check the description for the one(s) you are attending to see if one is required.
If you feel you need a laptop for additional note taking, Internet access, or another
purpose, you are encouraged to bring one. Please note that Software Quality Engineering
does not provide storage for laptops or other personal items at the conference.
