Expectations and Benefits

The standard time slot for a presentation at STAREAST 2009 is 60 minutes, including 10 minutes allotted for questions. We encourage technical papers (5-15 pages) to provide conference attendees with additional details, supporting material, and references and offer a $500 award for the Best Paper submitted among the accepted presentations.

One complimentary conference registration is granted for each accepted presentation.
Additionally, the presenter of the ''Best Presentation'' — as voted by the conference delegates — is asked to return as a Keynote Speaker at the next STAR conference.
