	Registration hours vary; please note the following are registration hours for STAREAST 2009. Sunday registration: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday registration: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday registration: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday registration: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday registration: 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Friday registration: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Tutorials are held on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Concurrent Sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, and the Software Testing & Quality Leadership Summit on Friday. Throughout the day, there are breaks for refreshments, lunch, and a chance to visit the EXPO. The EXPO is open on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 7, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

	Casual, comfortable attire is recommended for speakers and attendees. In May, the weather ranges from the high 80s during the day to high 60s at night. You may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings or varying temperatures in the hotel.

5. What is Software Quality Engineering’s cancellation policy?       Back to the Questions

	Registrations cancelled after Monday, April 13, 2009, are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. No cancellations or refunds may be made after Monday, April 20, 2009. 7. How do I receive confirmation of my registration?      Back to the Questions

	Once your registration has been received, a registration confirmation notice will be sent to you via email within 24 hours. Please verify that your email address is entered correctly on the registration form. A confirmation packet will be mailed upon receipt of payment.

9. Do I need to reserve a seat in any of the tutorials or concurrent sessions?      Back to the Questions

Seating is limited in Tutorials, so please reserve your seat early. As we get closer to the conference, some tutorials/workshops may be full. In this case, you will receive an email asking you to select another course. The Wednesday and Thursday concurrent sessions do not require reservations. You may enter or leave any session at any time, space permitting.  All tutorial selections must be made by Friday, May 1, 2009.

Although a laptop is not required for the conference, some tutorials require one. Please check the description for the one(s) you are attending to see if one is required. If you feel you need a laptop for additional note taking, Internet access, or another purpose, you are encouraged to bring one. Please note that Software Quality Engineering does not provide storage for laptops or other personal items at the conference.
